Job Purpose:

Bar Manager works hand in hand with the staff, vendors and supervisor to ensure a smooth-running, profitable business. Bar Manager is directly responsible for planning, bar operations sourcing bar staff, training bar staff and trainees, ordering and turning inventory, controlling labour, controlling wastes, nightly bar accounting, direct marketing, visual and the general up keeping of the bar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend frequent scheduled operations meeting . Set objectives and target for beverage unit/ bar 

• Source and train staff to best fit the bar’s requirement and needs

• Scheduled staff in an efficient manner to cover the demand of the customers

• Communicate with vendors to assure the appropriate amount of products are on hand for the forecasted demand

• Resolved all bar staff conflicts swiftly and fairly

• Set and monitor quality and service standards for staff and trainees

• Assured all transactions and basic accounting conducted with no variance

• Work shifts required to meet the need of the bar; this may include nights, weekends and holidays

• Spend busy nights glad-handing customers to ensure their dining experience is the best

• Occasional cocktail demonstration is required

• Communicate and follow the company’s policy, SOP and procedures.

• Oversee and implement the menu including the preparations and presentation of beverages to meet the standards

• Monitor and order supplies

• Promote the practice compliance with fire, health, safety and hygiene standards and regulations

• Adhere to stock control procedures

• Support marketing staff in any promotional activities.

• Adhere to the KOTO staff handbook and code of conducts

Yêu cầu ứng viên

Key requirements:

• High school diploma or tertiary diploma

• Experience in the management of a bar or beverage service operation

• Complete working knowledge of alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages

• Knowledge of basic accounting procedures

• Knowledge of basic business, administration, marketing and sales procedures

• Experiences in supplier knowledge and costs control

• 4- 5years working behind a bar and in a senior role
