General Description

This position is responsible for all aspects of Hanoi Custom clearance operation of Schenker

Logistics Vietnam – Hanoi Branch

 Specific Accountabilities

• Receive pre-alerts and documents for import shipments from Customer or other

department

• Receive AN,Bill, packing list & invoice for import shipments( food contacts).

• Checking all documents, translate commodities name from English into Vietnamese.

• Checking HS code for all items showed in the packing list & invoice

• Do E-customs clearance oftenly for Ocean import shipment.

• Print out CDS & relevant docs, then give to onsite team coming to customs office to

finish customs procedures.

• Tracing customs clearance status of shipment

• Arrange plan for the transportationg team to pick up & deliver cargo to customers on

time.

• Working closely with transportation team to ensure smooth operation.

• Entry shipment detail to system, reserve cost and income of shipment.

• Make Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports and other ones required by upper manager.

• Handle other jobs requested by upper manager.

• Good knowledge of E-cus & E-clearance system;

• Good communication in English and computer proficiency are must;

• Data input accuracy

• Forwarding background.

• Customer Orientation

 Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelors in Business Studies/ Foreign Trade/ Economics is preferable.

• Forwarding background is preferable
