Embedded/ IOT QA Engineers

To work as a system validation engineer for Embedded Solutions (modules and modems), Smart Connectivity and Managed IOT Solutions and All-in-One Edge-to-Cloud Solution.

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis on system and feature requirements and develop comprehensive test plans for product functionality, quality and usability verification

• Develop System Test Plan and review with developers to ensure complete coverage of targeted features and performance expectations

• Execute Test Plan and update documents for system release review.

• Design and develop automation tests to improve regression test scope of the software release and product

• Evaluate and improve test setups to better reflect customer deployment scenarios

• Provide second tier product technical support

• Lead test process improvements and regression test coverage improvements.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science background

• Knowledge of wireless technologies (mobile, wifi, Bluetooth..), location services (GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS satellite systems), IP networking is required.

• Experience working in a Linux environment, knowledge of operating system especially real-time OS is an asset.

• Experience with AT commands (of SIM808, SIM900), embedded development kits (Arduino, Raspberry …) is a plus.

• Programming ability in one or more of these languages: python, C/C++, java scripts is a bonus point.

• Experience with defect tracking tool such as JIRA and revision control tools such as Subversion, CVS, Git

• Good presentation skill and technical document development skills
