- Business combinations and purchase price allocation.
- Asset impairments, valuation, and inventory accounting.
● Handle complex transactions such as restructurings, mergers, acquisitions, or IPO readiness, including documentation and client support.
● Liaise with external auditors to resolve technical accounting issues and ensure smooth audits.
● Design and implement efficient accounting workflows and systems for accuracy and efficiency.
● Train client teams on technical accounting principles and applications.
2. CFO Advisory Services:
● Strategic Financial Guidance:
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and business plans tailored to client needs.
- Advise on risk management strategies to mitigate market, operational, and credit risks.
- Provide actionable insights for investment planning, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making.
● Internal Audit and Controls:
- Assess and strengthen client internal controls, addressing gaps and weaknesses.
- Design and implement robust internal control frameworks to ensure compliance and mitigate fraud risks.
- Lead periodic internal audits and provide actionable improvement recommendations.
● Accounting Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure client financial statements comply with applicable standards.
- Support the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards.
- Manage reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and adjustments to maintain record accuracy.
● Mergers & Acquisitions Support:
- Conduct financial due diligence for M&A, evaluating financial health and risks.
- Assist in post-merger integration, including alignment of accounting policies and controls.
- Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders involved in fundraising, acquisitions, or divestitures.
● Financial Systems and Automation:
- Guide clients in selecting, implementing, and optimizing financial systems and ERP solutions.
- Introduce automation tools to streamline manual accounting and audit processes.
- Train client teams to adopt new systems and processes seamlessly.
3. Business Unit Development:
● Design and develop the CFO-as-a-Service business unit, including service offerings, pricing models, and market strategy.
● Drive business development initiatives to attract and onboard clients.
● Collaborate with internal teams to deliver scalable, high-quality services.
● Define and monitor KPIs to measure the unit’s success and impact.
4. Team Leadership and Training:
● Mentor and manage junior team members supporting the CFO-as-a-Service practice.
● Deliver training sessions to upskill team members and client teams on accounting, financial management, and systems implementation.
● Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and innovation.
5. Innovation and Best Practices:
● Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes to provide cutting-edge solutions.
● Introduce automation tools and ERP solutions to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
● Implement and promote best practices in financial management, reporting, and internal controls.
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
· 7+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or advisory roles.
· In-depth knowledge of technical accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
· Proven ability to handle complex financial scenarios, including M&A, IPO readiness, and compliance projects
· Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
· Experience in advisory or consulting services is a plus.
