The Indotrek Brand Manager will take the lead in day to day management of Indotrek focusing on sales, partner relationships, keeping ahead of the market with adventure products for Indotrek (or other brands as requested). The role will also oversee all aspects of Marketing, PR and Communications between the Company and the travel trade and public. This includes developing and effecting a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy and plans for Indotrek (or other brands as requested) in visual, written and digital formats for both B2B and B2C audiences. This also includes liaising with the Brand Director regarding the P&L for individual bookings and the brand overall.
Product Management
• Take the lead in researching new products and touring options, packaging modules into multi-day itineraries and promoting them to all necessary departments and stakeholders within the company.
• Co-ordinate with other Departments within the company including Product, Contracting and Sales with producing new promotional packages and active itineraries for individual markets/segments
• Proactively keep current with our existing hotels’ promotions and news.
• Suggest new and creative product for custom itineraries based on requests from sales or agents.
• Coordinate and facilitate staff inspections and reporting.
• Solicit product input from sales, operations, guides, MICE; keep the direct superior informed.
• Research adventure industry news and keep MGMT team informed.
• Develop and deliver training materials for sales teams and trade partners to increase product and destination knowledge.
• Report on productivity and disseminate to Indotrek Sales team and in market Sales staff, GSA or agents.
Business Management
• Develop annual business plan and budget
• Accountability for profitability of Indotrek brand
• Develop the annual Marketing plan and calendar in coordination and accordance with the business plan
• Set clear goals and targets for Indotrek team and cascade them to all individual team members
• Report on productivity and disseminate to direct superior Sales team, in market Sales staff
People Management
• Supervise the work allocation in the Indotrek department, currently 5 staff
• Regular meetings with direct reports and other key stakeholders
• Motivate and inspire the direct reports to achieve department goals
• Develop the skills of direct reports to enhance the team’s performance
Marketing and Public Relations
• Oversee the design and production of Indotrek (Kingfisher Ecolodge and Coupe de Hue) marketing collateral including promotional material, flyers, brochures, presentation, advertisements and videos. Work with design team and Marketing to ensure deadlines are met.
• Ensure all marketing communications, such as newsletters and press releases, are coordinated and delivered in a timely manner support marketing plan objectives
• Oversee the client / agent database
• Oversee the marketing calendar production and distribution, ensuring all deadlines are met
• Oversee Indotrek’s online presence including website, blog and social media platforms
• Oversee and audit marketing and sales collaterals.
• Identify any potential PR and media opportunities and co-ordinate with the direct superior on a response
• Promotional writing to support all marketing collateral
• Develop branding guidelines further as required
• As required, assist with preparation for trade shows/appointments for trade shows around the world
• As required, assist with the preparation for agent “FAM” trips
Project management
• Oversee ad hoc projects as directed by the direct superior
• Take a hands on approach to development of Kingfisher Ecolodge and Coupe de Hue

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Tertiary studies in Tourism, Marketing or Business
• Knowledge of adventure tourism, geography, foreign cultures and Southeast Asia destinations
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an adventure tourism role
• Fluent - Written and spoken English
• Excellent - MS Office
• Basic – Accounting
• Good – Graphic design
• Flexibility to work overtime and in approach to work
• Ability to work under pressure
• Some overseas travel
• A good eye for detail
