Key Purpose of the Job:

The IT Support Technician role consists of providing technical support to all stakeholders in the organization with respect to end-user devices, internet connection, printers and BAU software. The person will demonstrate a very strong service-oriented attitude and will rapidly service and resolve issues for stakeholders during all operating hours of the organization, including evenings and weekends on a regular basis when scheduled. The IT Support Technician will also assist the IT Manager and IT Network & Infrastructure Engineer in other tasks related to the technology field.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

1. IT infrastructure, network and software support

  • Provide rapid technical support (remote or on-site if needed) to users by troubleshooting problems related to network and system performance or disruption across all operating hours of the organization
  • Record clearly issues and resolution updates in the Helpdesk ticketing system
  • Actively work in addressing Helpdesk tickets, including contacting suppliers or stakeholders for resolution within SLAs
  • Support the creation / removal of user accounts and manage access permisions in the various systems in compliance with the information security procedures in place
  • Monitor and maintain all systems and networks, computers, software according to pre-determine schedule

2. IT assets management

  • Install and effectively configure all hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners of the organization
  • Prepare and handover end-user IT devices and all necessary related information for new employee
  • Recover all end-user IT devices from employees leaving the organization in compliance with the HR procedures in place
  • Handle the repair or replacement of IT equipment as necessary and in compliance with the organization’s procedures
  • Proactively monitor and ensure the replenishment of printer toner
  • Keep IT documentation tidy
  • Support the procurement tasks when requested

Yêu cầu ứng viên

  • Knowledge and/or working experience with Relational Database Management Systems (MySQL, SQL … )
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
  • Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
