Teacher Management & Support

- Forecast recruitment needs of all staff in the Centre

- Recruit and manage teachers and other members of the academic team

- Oversee the induction & mentoring system for teachers

- Manage and maintain teacher professionalism by doing classroom observations, teacher training and appraisal

- Evaluate performance of all staff on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis in order to create necessary development plan for each staff

- Teach class and conduct activities on a regular basis in order to understand the requirements of students and the challenges of teachers

Program Development & Quality Control

- Liaise with the Director of Studies on curriculum development initiatives

- Manage the review and development of programmes

- Manage the review and development of supplementary materials

- Suggest ways to enhance the quality of Speak Up products to Director of Studies

- Monitor, train and maintain the quality of teaching and services provided

- Ensure Academic Team works closely with Admission Team to consult students’ academic needs and to provide the best academic service possible to motivate students to learn effectively and to renew their contracts

Teacher & Student Administration

- Produce efficient course scheduling, teaching timetable and placement testing timetables on a weekly basis

- Arrange cover for teacher absences as required

- Monitor & assess exam delivery and results as needed

- Monitor & assess student feedback on a regular basis

- Conduct teachers’ meetings

- Maintain administrative standards of teachers

KPI implementation & monitoring

- Set KPI to achieve that is aligned with the direction and development of Speak UP strategic plan and the target set for the Centre

- Implement effective KPI to monitor and encourage excellent performance by the Academic Team and Admission Team

Feedback and Complaint Handling

- receive customers’ feedback, investigate the validity of the feedback, and make improvements based on the feedback

- work with admission team to overcome objections from potential customers

- work with admission team and academic team to resolve complaints from customers

Yêu cầu ứng viên

- Master degree relating to English teaching

- Relevant professional qualifications, ESL Teacher Training Certification – TESOL, TEFL, CELTA etc. (prefer CELTA or TESOL – Trinity College)

- At least IELTS 7.0 and/or TOEIC 900 certificate is preferred

- Professional training & coaching experiences

- At least 3 years of management experience in educational fields

- Experience in teaching English for adults

- Experience in teaching test preparation courses

- Excellent presentation, instruction and communication skills

- Experience in managing sales and marketing team

- Understand P/L statement and financial management reports
