QA - Software Tester

• Join daily/ weekly meeting with team
• Create test plan and report to Project Lead
• Write test cases and execute them
• Run regression and smoke tests
• Improve/update test cases to increase efficiency and reliability
• Interact with Project Lead to understand products/applications and their features
• Research and learn new testing tools/methods
• Work with like-minded folks, get things done, and celebrate success

Must have skills

• At least 2 years of experience in with system testing methodologies and the system or software development life cycle
• Experience with functional and regression testing
• Analyze and support leads on requirement fulfillment.
• Experience with usability testing for cross-platform applications on mobiles and web

Nice to have skills

• Ability to provide expertise regarding Agile development
• Ability to ensure Agile process and standards are established and followed
• Ability to leverage requirements and design specifications to ensure the business rules are implemented and systems are thoroughly tested
• Ability to create system test plans, system test reports
• Understand CI CD , and is able to use the implementations
• Understand UX designs and make suggestions or improvements on the current feature sets
• Experience with Software Development Environment like Eclipse, etc.
• Have knowledge of automation test is a PLUS

Soft skill

• Ability to communicate in English (writing and reading)
• Can work under pressure.
