SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

We are developing an IoT platform that helps our customers (in Euro) to track their assets. Our platform not only helps to track the assets' movements, but also provides reporting and alerting abilities. Additionally, there are numerous utilities to manage the devices, and get deeper insights about their utilization.

Responsibilities:

- Develop new features and maintain existing features

- Analyze requirements and discuss with team members and customers to provide solutions

- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts...

- Protects operations by keeping information confidential

- Create deployment plan for each release

- Work in sprints

Required Skills: 

- Working experience in Java & Web application development

- Technical skills in popular Java frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate, JUnit)

- Knowledge of HTTP REST/JSON concepts

- Good knowledge on design principles and best practices in implementing REST APIs

- Experience in PostgreSQL

- Experience in Amazon Web Service (e.g. EC2, RDS, Simple Email Service)

- Knowledge of Linux

- Version control tool Git 

- English communication

Nice to have skills: 

- Knowledge of infrastrucrure provisioning tools (e.g. Ansible)

- Knowledge of popular monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Amazon CloudWatch)

- Prior experience with Sigfox network
