Web Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Web Developer who can help us become the best digital bank in the world.

We are super passionate about software development and FinTech and have a desire to build the best digital banking apps in the world. We want to work with people who share our passion and can help us achieve our goal whilst having some fun along the way.

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-organising and talented individual who can demonstrate both technical development skills and creative thinking. You will work hands-on as part of the application development team to enhance our award winning apps, internal systems and new innovative digital banking products. You will be a key member of a team that is obsessed with delivering a world class, dynamic technology platform across multiple data centers.

Your primary job responsibility will be

Build the web application features and internal web tools.

Collaborate with product owners and other developers on building high quality, new features for the platform.

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Tuning application performance and ensuring security.

Collaborate effectively with other technology teams to build cross-environment Mobile applications using JavaScript based frameworks.

Know how to set up tests and use unit testing frameworks.

Research and try new technologies for future projects (research and development personal time will be provided).

Transform the old web apps which using AngularJS to ReactJs.

You must be able to demonstrate capability in the following in Live Production environments:

3+ years’ experience in Web development.

Demonstrable experience with the following:

Native JavaScript

Angular js

Reactjs, Redux, Redux-saga

Responsive Web and Techniques.

Jquery

CSS3, SASS/LESS

Grunt, Webpack.

Experience in working with REST APIs/Web services, Json Data & debugging APIs

Able to write well-structured, maintainable code

Experience with unit tests, test-driven development, code coverage, testing frameworks and refactoring code

Some desirable skills:

Experience or capability in the following areas whilst not required would be an additional plus for you.

Experience with a cross platform Mobile framework such as Flutter or React Native etc.

Experience using GIT.

Progressive Web Apps

Familiar with Lighthouse

Web Security challenges and techniques

Can communicate well in English.
