We are seeking a motivated and innovative Java Software Developer to join our Application Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and integrating in-house applications while leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve software quality, productivity, and compliance with development standards. The role also requires promoting AI adoption and best practices within the development team.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain in-house software applications using Java and related technologies.
- Develop and implement application integration solutions to support business and operational requirements.
- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Ensure source code quality, maintainability, security, and performance by following established coding standards and development best practices.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools and frameworks to improve development efficiency, code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards, architectural guidelines, and SDLC governance requirements.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to leverage AI technologies in software development processes.
- Act as an AI advocate within the development team by coaching and guiding team members on the effective use of AI tools for software engineering activities.
- Collaborate closely with business users, project stakeholders, architects, and other technology teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
- Provide application support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for production systems when required.
Yêu cầu ứng viên
1. Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications in software development, cloud technologies, or AI-related domains are advantageous.
2. Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Experience developing enterprise applications and system integrations.
- Experience participating in end-to-end SDLC activities within Agile, Scrum, or similar development environments.
- Experience using AI-powered software development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, Codeium, or equivalent) is preferred.
3. Knowledge
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Good understanding of software architecture, application integration, RESTful APIs, and microservices concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, source code management, testing practices, and software quality assurance.
- Understanding of AI-assisted software development practices, including AI-supported coding, code review, testing, documentation, and productivity enhancement.
- Knowledge of application security, secure coding practices, and performance optimization.
- Understanding of banking and financial services business processes is a strong advantage.
4. Skills
- Strong Java programming and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in code review and ensuring adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
- Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to improve software development quality and productivity.
- Capability to mentor and guide team members in adopting AI technologies and modern development practices.
- Good communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, learning agility, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
