FPT IS

We are building an AI-powered Security Operations Center (AI SOC) platform that leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to automate security alert triage, incident investigation, and response recommendations. As the Lead AI Engineer, you will own the AI capability of the platform, driving the design, development, and continuous evolution of AI-powered features. Working closely with Solution Architects, Security Experts, and Product teams, you will transform complex cybersecurity workflows into intelligent, scalable AI solutions that significantly enhance SOC efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

AI Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Lead the design and implementation of AI capabilities for the AI SOC platform.
• Define the architecture of LLM-powered services, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, and knowledge retrieval pipelines.
• Evaluate and select appropriate LLMs, embedding models, vector databases, and AI frameworks based on product requirements.
• Establish best practices for AI system design, evaluation, observability, and continuous improvement.

AI Product Development

• Develop intelligent workflows for alert classification, incident summarization, root cause analysis, and response recommendations.
• Design AI Agents capable of assisting SOC analysts throughout the incident investigation lifecycle.
• Build scalable prompt engineering strategies and optimize AI reasoning quality.
• Collaborate with Security SMEs to convert SOC playbooks and operational knowledge into AI-powered capabilities.

Model Evaluation & Optimization

• Define evaluation metrics for accuracy, latency, hallucination control, and business impact.
• Improve retrieval quality, prompt effectiveness, and model performance through continuous experimentation.
• Monitor production AI services and drive iterative improvements based on user feedback.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with Solution Architects to align AI architecture with the overall platform architecture.
• Work closely with Backend Engineers, MLOps Engineers, and Security Engineers to deliver production-ready AI services.
• Mentor engineers on Generative AI technologies and promote AI engineering best practices.
