In 1998, School Outfitters was founded on a set of core values centered around people, customers, and winning the right way. Extremely innovative for the time, they built a website and digital marketing machine and leveraged technology across all areas of the business to scale from zero to $200 million and build a market leader.

All companies say they are focused on people and customers, in 2021 School Outfitters demonstrated the ultimate commitment to these principles by converting to 100% employee-owned (ESOP), forming BERPL Holdings Inc. BERPL Holdings now employes over 500 people across the world.

In 2023, BERPL Technologies was launched to leverage these same BERPL values and principles to reinvent the technology industry and build a clear market leader.
