Saigon RDC Co Ltd was incorporated in February 1995 and it was one of the earliest ready mixed concrete companies with foreign invested capital to begin operations in Vietnam. It started as a joint venture company.

The first few high-rise projects that it undertook in 1996 were the Norfolk Mansion and Saigon Sky Gardens located along Ly Tu Trong Street and Le Thanh Ton Street respectively.

In 2003, SRDC was converted into a 100% foreign owned company by its Singapore owners (Concrete Technology Pte Ltd), a subsidiary of Sembcorp industries.

In October 2011 Saigon RDC was acquired by Taiheiyo Cement Corporation also known as TCC. Taiheiyo Cement Corporation is the largest cement manufacturer in Japan, Established in May 1881 with over 12,574 employees. Principal activities are manufacture cement, concrete and environmental products.

As of April 2013, Saigon RDC has proud to become the major concrete supplier for Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien Metro Line 1. This is a strategic project of Ho Chi Minh City as well as Viet Nam at that moment. We started expanding again and now we have 6 batching plants located in several areas in HCMC and by mid 2017 we expect to have 10 plants and we will continue to grow our business.
