Virtual Internship Partners Ltd (Virtual Internships) - CRCC Asia subsidiary

Virtual Internships (“VI”) started in 2018 after recognizing that the future of work was at our doorstep, and more students across the world would need to prepare for remote work experience as well as create a network of virtual connections to succeed. VIs inaugural program was able to leverage the expertise of CRCC Asia, which at the time had 10+ years of experience cultivating host company networks and best practices for supporting interns. This served as a great framework for VI as it adapted its support for a virtual programming landscape. Throughout the past 3 years, VI has supported over 1500 students in accessing remote internship experiences.

As a pioneer in remote-only internship programs, VI has been widely featured in the media along with receiving industry and business recognition. Over the past 18 months, VI has featured on the BBC, The Telegraph, The Independent and the Professionals in International Education. Global research firm HolonIQ identified VI as one of the key organisations in its 2021 Global Learning Landscape. In July 2020, VI was also a winner of the prestigious MassChallenge accelerator. 

In September 2020, VI secured investment from 500 Startups, the world’s most active global venture capital firm. 500 Startups have been involved with the likes Grab, Udemy, Canva , and Twilio. With the backing of 500 Startups alongside other investors, VI has the goal of becoming a prominent player in the EdTech industry - with the aim of servicing 10,000 students by 2022.
