We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant & Administration Manager to take a leading role in the financial, accounting, payroll, compliance, and administrative management of our Ho Chi Minh City office.
This is a senior position for someone who wants more than a technical accounting role. The successful candidate will become a trusted member of the management team, with real ownership over financial compliance, internal administration, payroll, tax matters, and project-related accounting processes.

Position Overview
The Chief Accountant & Administration Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s full accounting function, statutory reporting, payroll, tax administration, social security compliance, and general office administration.
This is a senior management role requiring strong professional accounting experience, high standards of compliance, and the ability to work in an international business environment.
The successful candidate must be familiar with service-company operations, especially project-based businesses involving both full-time employees and part-time contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
• Manage the full accounting function of the company.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial records in compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards.
• Manage accounting entries, reconciliations, payments, receivables, payables, and cash flow follow-up.
• Prepare management reports for senior leadership.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and project financial tracking.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Tax, Compliance & Statutory Reporting
• Checking all required tax declarations and statutory reports.
• Liaise with local tax authorities and other government administrations.
• Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese tax, accounting, labor, and administrative regulations.
• Monitor changes in local regulations and advise management accordingly.
• Maintain a high level of internal control and compliance.
Payroll & Social Security Administration
• Manage monthly payroll for approximately 25 full-time employees.
• Manage payment and administrative processes for approximately 500 part-time contractors per year.
• Handle personal income tax, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance matters.
• Liaise with social security and labor authorities.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and reporting.
Project & Contractor Administration
• Support administrative and accounting processes for approximately 30 to 40 projects per year.
• Manage documentation and payment processes for part-time contractors involved in project execution.
• Ensure contractor records, agreements, payment documents, and compliance files are properly maintained.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate financial administration.
Office Administration
• Oversee general office administration and internal administrative procedures.
• Manage relationships with local authorities, suppliers, service providers, and administrative partners.
• Support HR-related administration in coordination with management.
• Ensure proper implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Certified Chief Accountant qualification in Vietnam.
• Strong experience in accounting, tax, payroll, and administration.
• Previous experience with a service company is required, preferably in consulting, market research, research services, or project-based businesses.
• Good understanding of operations involving both full-time employees and part-time contractors.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting, tax, payroll, labor, and social insurance regulations.
• Good working knowledge of MISA accounting software.
• Experience working in a foreign or international business environment.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance mindset.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and administrative deadlines.
• English is required. French is a strong advantage.
• Ability to communicate with senior management and external partners professionally.
• Monthly gross salary of 25 to 35 million depending on experience and qualifications.
• Performance bonus based on company and individual performance.
